Pantone, the leader in the color market, released their top color trends with new shades inspired by nature. The Pantone fashion color report from the hues seen on the runway is not only for fashionistas so here’s how these colors could look in your interiors.
KALE:
“Evocative of the great outdoors and a healthy lifestyle, Kale is another foliage-based green that conjures up our desire to connect to nature” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.
Kale is supposed to be the ultimate trend in 2017 not only on the runway, in your plates but also an ‘oxygenating’ breath of fresh air inspired from the vertical gardens, rooftop greenery and leafy plazas.
PRIMROSE YELLOW:
“By contrast, Primrose Yellow sparkles with heat and vitality. Inviting us into its instant warmth, this joyful yellow shade takes us to a destination marked by enthusiasm, good cheer and sunny days.”
This color would look perfect to expose your walls decorations.
FLAME:
“A red-based orange, Flame, is gregarious and fun loving. Flamboyant and vivacious, this wonderfully theatrical shade adds fiery heat to the spring 2017 palette.”
A definite statement warm color. You can replace painting a wall with maybe a single seat or some flame colored home accessories.
GREENERY:
“Bringing forth a refreshing take, Greenery is a tangy yellow-green that speaks to our need to explore, experiment and reinvent.”
Greenery takes you back to a calm light nature mood for any zen space.
HAZELNUT:
“This shade brings to mind a natural earthiness. Unpretentious and with an inherent warmth, Hazelnut is a transitional color that effortlessly connects the seasons. A quintessential neutral with a warm undertone.”
Hazelnut is just the best color that can merge perfectly with any primary or secondary color.
LAPIS BLUE:
“Conveying even more energy is Lapis Blue. Strong and confident, this intense blue shade is imbued with an inner radiance.”
This blue shade is bold yet evokes a calming vibe to your interior.
NIAGARA:
“Comfortable and dependable, Niagara is a classic denim-like blue that speaks to our desire for ease and relaxation.”
It’s one of the best choice for your bedroom or any calming space.
PALE DOGWOOD:
“Pale Dogwood is a quiet and peaceful pink shade that engenders an aura of innocence and purity. The unobtrusive Pale Dogwood is a subtle pink whose soft touch infuses a healthy glow.”
This is a sweet shade of pink for a girly space.
PINK YARROW:
“Tropical and festive, Pink Yarrow is a bold, attention getting and tempestuous. It is a captivating and stimulating color that lifts spirits and gets the adrenaline going.”
It’s a lively color and definitely a funky shade for a fun room.
ISLAND PARADISE:
“Island Paradise is a refreshing aqua a cool blue green shade that speaks to our dream of the great escape and our desire to unwind.”
This color is a breath of fresh air and when combined with pink yarrow would create a beautiful blend for the space.
Personally the Spring 2017 fashion color report is just fantastic and everyone can relate to one of the top 10 colors that varies from warm ones to the fresh playful tones! I’m in love with how bold Lapis Blue is, mixed with light shades of Niagara and Island Paradise… a pure blue escape filled with emotions and feelings! (yes I have a weakness for the Blue shades)
So now let me find a room and turn it 2017 trendy!
