Here I am, an uncle for the second time for a second baby girl who we named Día. And it was obvious to create an interesting display to welcome my sister’s little bundle of joy same as I did 2 years ago for her first baby.
After “The Garden of Baby Rhéa” with a Lavender dominating mood, I decided for Baby Día not to stick to any theme but in the opposite create a super harmonious of a non theme table. Everything was based on a fusion between childhood memories and blossoming floral elements under a radiant colorful vibe with three main colors dominating the setup: tones of pink, light green and natural brown enveloped under a white haze.
Raw wood was present in 2 essential statements; part of the decoration base that created a leveled shelving display and the second part with the decorative elements for the chocolate pieces. Rocking horses, elephants, ducks, floral brooches, jars and buttons made from this table a cheerful yet peaceful creation.
Every time I design create or imagine a space I do it with full heart, full mind and full energy, however there is always something indescribable when u gather those little things around you in order to build up a Handmade and Heartmade set up for our beloved ones.
